Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for your goodness and mercy. We thank you for the ultimate price that you paid for our sins and ask that you continue to cleanse and purify us that we may be pleasing in your sight.
Lord, as it has been brought to our remembrance today, we repent for the vile and unclean things we have done. Lord, we understand and see now that those things, whether they be thought or action, are not pleasing to you. Father God, you gave your only son as a sacrifice for our sins, past, present, and future, but Lord we love you and want to walk in uprightness before you.
So Lord Jesus, we repent for the sins that we failed to see. We come to you with sorrow in our hearts that we did not see clearly the wrong we carried. Thank you God, for cleansing us on this day and for being a kind and gracious God.
Your mercy endereth forever, and for that we give thanks to you always and forever.
