Prayer: What to do???

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come to you on this day offering thanks and praise for we know that in you, all things work for good according to your will.

Father, we are but human beings. Your Spirit lives in us, and you've instructed us to live not in the flesh, but in the spirit. You given us the gift of life and we are to live each day in service to you. But Lord, you know our hearts, and you see the pain that we feel in these humanly fleshly bodies. Like Jesus at Gethsemane, we sometimes hope that the cups before us could pass from us. But also like Jesus, your only begotten son, we know that we must submit ourselves fully to your will because you have a plan and a purpose and a place for each and every one of us!

While it can be hard to hold on to that faith and to keep steady during the midst of the storm, Lord we put our trust in you and ask humbling in your mighty name that we be strengthened and given courage to withstand the tribulations before us. You said in your Word that no weapon formed against us will prosper, and we know that your Word will not return unto you void.

So our Father in Heaven, hallowed by thy name... We thank you for all that you are doing and ask for strength in counting it all joy. 🙏🏽 We trust that you are taking us to a place and a position that is exactly where you want us to be regardless of what the circumstances around us look like. Lord, we bless your Holy name and give thanks, praise, honor, and glory unto you.
