Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you on this day offering thanks and praise for all that you have done and are doing in our lives. Though we may not understand the path you've put before us, it says in your Word to give thanks in all things and to count it all joy for those who serve you.
Lord, we are facing trying times in our personal lives and as a nation among nations. We want to put our trust in you fully but are constantly faced with many trials and tribulations. We experience and witness things that hurt and are uncomfortable to us, but Lord, you know all and see all. Everything that you have allowed to happen in this life is for a reason and a purpose, and we know that your ways are MUCH greater than our ways.
So Father, we pray for strength on this day. We ask that your Spirit come upon us and grant us guidance to persevere through the many challenges that we face. We know that anything you bring us to, you will bring us through as long as we continue to trust in your Holy name.
God, you are omnipotent and omnipresent, all-powerful and everlasting...in You Lord, we are given the strength to move mountains. So Lord, let us experience your strength and peace that we may have confidence going forward in faith as the world continues to change.
