Dear Heavenly Father,
As you sit upon your thrown of power and grace, we offer up thanks unto you for your mighty and omnipotent ways.
Lord you have saved us with a gift of sacrifice, and only you can save us from the afflictions we face in this life. We know and trust that you are the captain of our life and you will not lead us into destruction for it is the enemy, Satan, that wants to destroy us. But Lord, you have rescued us by giving your life as penalty for our sins.
Father, when we become weak and weary because of the things and situations that you won't take away from us, give us the strength and wisdom to recognize your loving power in it. Let us become so in tune with your mighty hand at work that we can only praise you instead of question you.
Lord, your ways are greater. You have seen the end just as you have seen the beginning, and nothing we will ever go through will be a surprise to you. So with that Jesus, we ask that you let your light shine upon us and open ours eyes that we may gain what it is that you need us to gain so we can be stronger soldiers in your army.
In Jesus' name, we ask these things of you Lord, as it be your will...
